1st Oakington Brownies Annual Report 2008/09

The Brownies have experienced another exciting and adventurous year of
Guiding at their level, gaining new interest badges and personal
challenges. Most of the weekly activities are planned around ideas that
the Brownies have given us in pow-wow.

We currently have 24 Brownies in the Unit. We maintain close links with
the School, Community and Cubs and see service as an important part of
being a Brownie.

We did quite a bit of service this year to support the Oakington
Pavilion Committee in fundraising for the New Sports Pavilion. Half of
the profits from a Tea Party in May went to the Pavilion; the other half
was raised towards our visit to Mepal All the profits from our stall at
